About us:

Edgify is developing the future of AI. Going up against the cloud providers to offer a new way of training ML and DL models directly on day to day devices. We built a framework that allows any company, from any industry, to train complete Deep Learning and Machine Learning models directly on their own edge devices- we allow for close to perfect accuracy, without the need to transfer any data to the cloud. 

  • We are looking for a Controller to undertake most aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, payments, and ongoing day-to-day responsibilities, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • You will work closely with the Company’s Director of Finance & Strategy. 
  • Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
      • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually consolidated financial reports and statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow etc.) for presentation to the Company's management/ board of directors.
      • Analyze (and monitor) actual and budget expenses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
      • Monitor expenses and enforce the Company’s policies and controllership.
      • Develop, document, and enforce compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
      • Manage external service providers.
      • Oversee the payroll process.
      • Assisting in strategic research & planning.
      • Ad-Hoc tasks and projects.
  • Essential Education, Skills and Experience: 
      • CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm.
      • 1-3 years max in a similar position (Assistant Controller/ Controller/ FP&A Analyst)  in a High-Tech company, preferably a SaaS startup. 
      • Excellent Excel skills with the ability to build and manage complex financial models.
      • Excellent Hebrew & English (spoken & written).
      • Experience working with ERP systems. Priority -an advantage.
      • Experience in preparing financial statements according to IFRS and familiarity with the Israeli statutory requirements.
      • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
      • A quick learner, with a high level of analytical capabilities and business understanding.
      • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines.
      • Independent, organized and dependable.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Knowledge in US GAAP.
    • Familiarity with the UK statutory requirements.
    • Experience in leading and implementing budget and forecasting cycles.
    • Knowledge and experience with tax compliance and statutory reporting.
    • Law degree / attorney
